Well preserved specimens of Trilobites Flexicalymene Ouzregui.
The Trilobites were a group of arthropods whose name tri-lobi-tes alludes to their body that was divided into 3 parts.
These marine invertebrates lived in the ancient seas and oceans, they were planktonic, swimming or crawling creatures and their diet was basically scavenger, detritus or predatory.
They initially appeared at the beginning of the Cambrian period (570 mya ago) and became extinct in the late Permian period (240 mya ago). Trilobites are closely related to modern horseshoe crabs.
Deposits: Today it is possible to find fossil remains of trilobites on all continents.
The piece you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown, as the fossils are natural and no piece is identical. The size is approximate.
