Massive Serpentine in an intense green color with dark green stripes. Its name is due to the fact that its color is reminiscent of snake skin.
Serpentine comprises four main types of silicates: chrysotile, antigorite, lizardite, and amesite. The appearance of the different varieties of serpentine is similar and depends on the amounts of metals it contains, it can be rich in magnesium, iron, aluminum, manganese, nickel, lithium, zinc or calcium.
