Well-formed Chiastolite crystals. Chiastolite is a variety of andalusite and is characterized by a curious carbonaceous inclusion (graphite) that draws a cross in the center of the mineral.
Also known as “The Celtic Cross” or “Cruz de Asturias” due to its similarity to the symbols, these gems are usually polished for jewelry and other ornamental purposes.
The piece you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown, since the minerals are natural and no pieces are identical. The size is approximate.
