Its crystalline system is cubic, giving rise to very beautiful and spectacular crystalline formations, such as the cube, octahedron, pyritohedra (twelve pentagonal faces) and rarely icosahedrons (twenty triangular faces).
Pyrite is one of the most used Minerals to obtain sulfuric acid due to its high percentage of Sulfur.
