Massive Oligisto (hematite) of reddish ocher color with metallic luster.
When the Oligisto has an earthy formation it is red ocher in color. It is used as the main ore to obtain iron. Also, being of the clay type, since ancient times it has been used as a pigment, in paints and dyes.
