Sheet of crystallized Mica with a beautiful yellow-gold color.
Mica is characterized by its easy exfoliation in thin flexible, elastic and very shiny sheets. They are generally found in igneous rocks such as granite and metamorphic rocks such as schist. The most abundant varieties are biotite and muscovite.
Thanks to their characteristics of elasticity, flexibility and resistance to heat and water, they make them a precious material for industry due to their properties as electrical and thermal insulators. It is used as insulation for high voltage and high power machines, turbo generators, electric motors, and some capacitors.
The piece you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown, as the minerals they are natural and there is no identical piece. The size is approximate.
