Malachite with polished natural Chrysocolla of intense green and turquoise blue color.
Malachite mixed with Chrysocolla (they usually appear together) from the Congo that has been polished on its upper part to be able to appreciate the rings, shapes and figures that this precious mineral draws. The circles that can be seen come from polishing botryoidal growths of the malachite.
Malachite is one of the main copper ores, it is deep green in color. One of the main uses of Malachite today is in jewelry, although in ancient times it was a mineral widely used by the Egyptians as a cosmetic and as a pigment in paints.
The largest deposits are in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The piece you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown as the minerals are natural and no piece is identical. The size is approximate.
