The woolly mammoth, woolly elephant or tundra mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius) is a species of extinct genus of the elephant family at the end of the Pleistocene.
It was very similar to an elephant but with an important hair cover to protect itself from low temperatures. Many bones and curved defenses, as well as entire frozen bodies, of specimens of this species of mammoth have been found.
Deposits : Siberia, the Arctic islands and North America.
The fossil includes a label with the name, period and origin and is glued in a 4 cm square cardboard box.
