Beautiful saccharoid quartz geodes with shiny crystals.
Geodes are spherical or ellipsoidal cavities formed in rocks in which some mineral has precipitated, forming sheets of crystals (quartz) or concentric bands (agate). The clear color of quartz can be crystalline, slightly cloudy or almost opaque.
Quartz is the most abundant mineral found on the Earth's surface. It occurs in basically all mineral environments, and is the fundamental component of many rocks. Quartz is also the most varied of minerals, coming in all different shapes, habits, and colors. There are more variety names given to quartz than any other mineral.
Quartz has numerous industrial uses, among others, it is used in the manufacture of glass. It is also used as an abrasive, as foundry sand or in the oil industry.
The mineral includes a label with the name and origin and is attached to a cardboard box. 4 cm square.
*The price is per unit (a single cardboard box of the four shown in the photo)
Since the minerals are natural, you will receive a piece similar to the one in the photograph. The minerals come in cardboard boxes and are glued to a porex base with hot silicone; These can be removed using ethyl alcohol without damaging the mineral. The size is approximate.
