It is a mineral of sedimentary and metamorphic rocks.
It is the main component of dolomites (chemical sedimentary rocks) that are used as a source of magnesium and for the manufacture of refractory materials. It is also used as a flux in metallurgy, ceramic manufacturing, paints, white fillers and as a component to make glass.
Dolomite is highly prized by collectors and museums when it forms large, transparent crystals. These specimens appear in the magnesite deposit exploited in the Eugui mines, in Navarra, considered among the best in the world.
The mineral includes a label with the name and origin and is attached to a 4 cm square cardboard box.

Since the minerals are natural, you will receive a piece similar to the one in the photograph. The minerals come in cardboard boxes and are glued to a porex base with hot silicone; these can be removed using ethyl alcohol without damaging the mineral. The size is approximate.
