The Strunz Classification is a classification system that attends to the chemical composition of minerals, it is the most universally used model in mineralogy.
Following this classification, we have created a collection with which you will discover the most representative minerals of Group II (Sulphides and sulfosalts) and Group VI (Sulphates, chromates, molybdates and tungstates).
Learn the composition of minerals and have fun collecting them!
The Collection Includes 20 Representative Samples of the following Minerals:
Sphalerite - Zinc Sulfide, Chalcanthite - Copper Sulfate, Chalcopyrite - Iron and Copper Sulfide, Realgar - Arsenic Sulfide, Anhydrite - Anhydrous Calcium Sulfate, Gypsum Espejuelo - Calcium Sulfate, Pyrite - Iron Sulfide, Celestine - Calcium Sulfate Strontium, Cinnabar - Mercury Sulfide, Skutterudite - Copper Arsenide, Antimonite - Antimony Sulfide, Barite - Barium Sulfate, Red Gypsum - Calcium Sulfate, Bornite and Covellina - Copper Sulfide, Fibrous Gypsum - Calcium Sulfate, Marcasite - Iron Sulfide, Galena - Lead Sulfide, Alum - Aluminum Sulfate, Desert Rose - Calcium Sulfate, Pyrrotine - Iron Sulfide.
The pieces you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown as the minerals are natural and no piece is identical. The size is approximate.
