There are three types of rocks: Igneous, Metamorphic and Sedimentary. With this collection you will discover the most representative rocks of each type.
The samples are presented in the classic 4x4 cm boxes. In addition, they are classified with color labels so that you can differentiate each type of rock.
The Collection Includes 15 Representative Samples of the following Rocks:
Pink Granite – Madrid, Gabbro – Asturias, Syenite – Madrid, Pumita – Portugal, Obsidian Nevada – Mexico, Basalt – Canary Islands, Andesite – Almería, Schist – Madrid, Serpentine – Malaga, Gneiss – Madrid, Anthracite – Asturias, Sandstone – Guadalajara, Porphyry - Madrid, Stratigraphic Limestone - Germany and Diatomite - Albacete.
The pieces you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown as the rocks are natural and no piece is identical. The size is approximate.The rocks are glued with hot silicone, if desired, the silicone can be easily removed without damaging the piece with ethyl alcohol and thus separate them from the base where they are glued.
