Celestine or celestite is a mineral variety of strontium sulfate and the main source of strontium. Its name derives from 'caelestis', alluding to the blue color of one of its varieties.
It is used in the manufacture of television screens, in fireworks, tracer bullets, for glazing ceramics, and in the nuclear power industry, among others.
The piece you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown as the minerals are natural and no piece is identical. The size is approximate.
