Amber is the fossilized resin of prehistoric trees. Its name comes from Arabic, meaning "that which floats in the sea", since it floats on sea water.
It is usually light brown in color, although there are varieties with yellow and greenish tones.
It is considered the oldest gemstone known to man but in reality it is of organic origin.
The piece you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown, since the fossils are natural and there is no identical piece. The size is approximate.
