Natural alum.
Alum is a mineral obtained from a magmatic rock and occurs in nature in the form of a crystal. There is no industrial production of this compound.
Among its many uses, it is used to clarify cloudy water by placing it in the filters where currents pass. It is used in the manufacture of paper and antiperspirants. In medicine, it causes bleeding to stop, as it produces cauterization of the vessels and in turn fibrosis of the mucosa.
Its use extends to many issues, but the truth is that its antiseptic properties are the best known. This is how it has become one of the most important natural deodorants that exist, among other uses that are given to it. It is also used in some cultures as a preservative.
The piece you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown, since the minerals are natural and no pieces are identical. The size is approximate.
